The House Corporation Board of Directors is composed of a group of alumnae
volunteers, as well as the Chapter President, Treasurer, and House Manager. The House Corp is responsible for all matters
involving the structure, maintenance and running of the Chapter House, including housing contracts. The current House
Corp Board is made up of all Beta Rho alumnae volunteers.
This Board is the fiduciary backbone of the organization, and conducts
it's self under a 501C non-profit business. They employ the House Director, the Cook, and the
Hashers (bus boys). They are the responsible party for collecting Room & Board, overseeing and paying all vendors
(ie: the house keeper, landscape maintenace, handyman, utilities, etc.), and are the property "managers" on behalf of all
Kappa Delta Alumnae of Beta Rho.

Cathy Johnson
House Director
(aka: House Mom)

Cathy Johnson is our House Director. She lives onsite.
Cathy’s responsibilities for Kappa Delta include supervision of the chef, the housekeeper,
bus boys (hashers) and maintenance personnel. She assists the chef with
menu planning and food ordering within a budget; serves as a mentor to chapter members; maintains an open-door policy; helps
to hosts meals and special events; records expenses and submits invoices to the House Corporation. Cathy maintains an excellent relationship with chapter members, her staff and the House Corporation
Board.
Cathy has an entrepreneurial
spirit and has owned a catering and children’s party and wedding planning business, taught cake-decorating classes,
managed a restaurant, worked as a professional seamstress for a bridal salon. She
has been a retail distributor for Hallmark Cards, and as a school cafeteria manager. Cathy enjoys the company of her 4-pound dog named Ms. Peabody.
